Life Tip

This one's simple, but you'd be surprised how many people don't know it--or remember it.

When you ask someone an important question and only get a partial answer in return, just politely and calmly wait in silence. The rest of your answer will follow.

If you’re having problems dealing with someone who has an irrational dislike for you, ask them for a simple favor.

“Hey John, can I borrow your Shawshank Redemption DVD—I've never seen an uncut version?”

Then return it a few days later with a note of gratitude. The friendly exchange will resolve all negative tension.

Want something? Ask for it. You can get more in life than you think just by simply asking.

If someone is unkind to you that does not mean you should be unkind to them. Their behaviors and actions are their issues to deal with; no need to make them yours as well.
